I was inspired to read the Lord of the Rings books again, for the first time in about seven years, and I really liked it. And I somehow got the idea to make a picture of myself with one of the Rings. This Ring could not be the One Ring, of course, because I really don't think that's my cup of tea . . . so I contented myself with one of the Nine. They were plenty powerful.
This is about the third edit of this picture; I've also got a sketch, and a rough CG. This is the final product, and I think it looks best. I really like the amount of details I put into the shoes; this isn't usually one of my strong spots.
