For those who don't recognize them--Natalie is the one in the fore, Akki's the one behind her, and Joshua's the one in the aft.
I think it's pretty cute . . . very cute. ^^ Natalie's feeling kind of wistful because she's unsure of the future, or even of the past, and this entire world is kind of unfamiliar to her . . . essentially, she doesn't undrestand.
This is from an old, discarded idea of mine--Joshua, Akki or Christine, and Natalie escape from some mad scientist's place to exist in the woods, only with a bit less wholesomeness (and shelter) than the Boxcar Children. It didn't have much in the way of plot, so I discarded it--however, I occassionally get picture ideas for it . . .
