The curse upon our bodies,
The curse upon our minds;
All that the others see is
Accursed lumps of slime;
Smelly sewer-dwellers,
Cowardice with eyes;
Just once in life, I wish I could
Look at the harsh sunlight
All we've got is ourselves;
The rest of it was taken
From us by the "better men",
Out own feelings forsaken
Everything's been taken;
There's nothing that we've got
We're forced to hide beneath the ground,
Living on sewage and rot
All we've got is our city;
Numemon side by side
Little blobs of greenish filth,
A colony of slime
But in that way, we're better
Than all others alive;
We won't stab another in the back
For non-existent pride
Shunned to sewers, yet we live on
When others always fight
Against their virtually perfect world,
Try fruitlessly to rise
Patience will reward us,
Some time, on some day
We'll be allowed into the sun . . .
We'll achieve a dream, some way.
