Battling is Painful

To the tune of "Suicide is Painless"

By Akilika Q

Through midst of battle, all I see
Are visions of brutality;
My leg's cut off beneath the knee,
I shout in pain, and I can see . . .

That battling is painful,
It ruins with blood-stains all;
But I can't leave it whenever I please . . .

The game of war is hard to play;
Someone loses, anyway.
People dying, every day;
So this is all I have to say . . .

Battling is painful,
It ruins with blood-stains, all;
But I can't leave it whenever I please . . .

The swords of foes will pierce my skin;
Man, it hurts when it begins,
And as it works its way on in,
The pain grows stronger, and I cringe . . .

Battling is painful,
It ruins with blood-stains, all;
But I can't leave it whenever I please . . .

The dying once requested me
To get them out in one full piece;
But I moved on to fight something;
And now there is such irony . . .

And you can't leave it, either, when you please . . ."
